Add a porch to your MiniPeak XL, F6 or F8 tent!  The Mini-Tarp is a small lightweight 10' x 9.5' hex tarp designed to attach securely to the peak of your Luxe Tent.

The Mini-Tarp has a pocket at one end that fits over the peak of your tent.  4 guylines attach to your existing tent stakes and three additional stakes are needed to guy out the front of the tarp.  A hiking pole or branch works great to hold up the front.  For the basic pitch pictured, attach two 8' guy lines to the points at the peak, 1 8' guy line at the front and a 5' guy line at each corner.  

The Mini-Tarp is a fantastic way to add a lot of protected space to your tent.  For smaller tents, it allows multiple people to enjoy the stove while remaining protected from the weather.  You can also use it to store wet or muddy gear outside your tent without getting wet.  In inclement weather, it works great to keep snow or rain off the door of the tent  - you can open the tent without getting snow or rain inside.

Other uses include as an emergency shelter or as a glassing tarp.  The tarp can't be used as a flat tarp due to the peak pocket, but provides good coverage when pitched in an A-Frame configuration.
